Who is the Bosch motor upgrade available for?
The update is available for all eBikes equipped with the latest Bosch Performance Line CX motor – identified by the motor code BDU 38.

Open the Bosch eBike Flow app on your smartphone
Connect your WINORA eBike to the app
The software update will appear automatically (starting July 2025)

* Important: To install the update, your eBike must be equipped with the Bosch Smart System and a BDU 38 motor.
Also keep in mind:
Higher power values place more strain on mechanical components and can reduce your bike’s range — more power means more wear and potentially shorter rides.
It’s entirely up to you whether or not to install the update.
By default, the Performance Line CX (BDU384Y) still comes with the standard performance values of: 85 Nm torque, 600 watts peak power, and 340% pedal assistance.
