What makes the different Tria models unique?
Many differences can be spotted right in the model name. It’s made up of practical codes that tell you what to expect – from the drive system to the gearing and battery power.
- R = low-maintenance belt drive
- N = classic chain drive
- X = derailleur gears; without X means hub gears
- Numbers like 5, 8, 11 = number of gears
- f = freewheel; if missing, the model has a coaster brake
- 500 or 625 Wh = battery capacity
Example: The Tria R5f has a belt drive, 5-speed hub gears, and no coaster brake. This way, you can narrow down your choice before heading to the dealer for a test ride.
