Focus Money award: WINORA is awarded 100 points and sets the benchmark as the “prize winner”
“One of the most coveted brands” becomes gold: WINORA was awarded gold by Focus Money (Focus 46/18) as the winner of 2018.
Awards for the bicycle category were given to a total of three brands; in first place was WINORA with 100 points, setting the benchmark for all other brands tested. The other bicycle manufacturers were awarded bronze.
WINORA can enjoy this award and certification for one year. The method was comparable to that of the certification as "one of the most coveted brands in Germany", which had been awarded to the brand in June 2018. The “Preis-Sieger” (Prize Winner) study examines social media posts on more than 3,000 brands from 129 sectors and product categories. Comments such as "too expensive", "bargain" or "shipping costs" are evaluated in the price category.
The evaluation is then based on “social listening”. For this study around 2.3 million mentions of the more than 3,000 brands from the period between 1 September 2017 and 31 August 2018 were examined and evaluated.
Points are calculated according to sector on a scale of 0 to 100 points. The winner of each sector is given 100 points and hence sets the benchmark for all other sectoral brands tested. The “Preis-Sieger" study was carried out on behalf of Focus Money and Deutschland Test by the IMWF Institute for Management and Economic Research.
