“Special Mention 2019”: WINORA Sinus i-Series wins special award at the German Design Award

The new WINORA Sinus i-series was awarded a special distinction of the German Design Award for its outstanding design. The "Special Mention" award annually honours creations whose design offers particularly successful solutions. According to the jury, the WINORA e-bike series with in-frame battery is distinguished by its dynamic and clever design.
“The integration of battery and motor in the frame is evidence of a high level of design. An elegant design that looks dynamic and modern, rounded off with cleverly designed details” was the opinion of the jury. For model year 2019, WINORA has expanded its e-bike series with a battery integrated in the frame. For the first time, the range now also offers monotube versions with comfortable low crossbars in addition to men's and women's models. The e-bikes can be charged easily at a charging station or the battery removed, which is very well protected against environmental influences by the hydroformed frame tube and the form-fit battery cover.
The new Sinus i series offers a wide range of equipment options from derailleur gears to hub gears, with or without low-maintenance belt drive and optionally with a back pedal brake. The Sinus i models are available with all current Bosch systems (RRP from 2,599 euros).
